The Veritus Framework

The Veritus Framework exists to solve a simple but costly problem: important decisions are often made without ever examining the assumptions that underpin them.

This framework creates a structured pause — not to slow progress, but to prevent avoidable failure.

How it works

Recognise
Identify the core assumption driving the decision — not the conclusion, but the belief underneath it.

“We assume this will work because…”

Reflect
Examine where that assumption came from: evidence, past experience, vendor influence, organisational incentives, or personal bias.

Review
Stress-test the assumption using alternative perspectives, constructive dissent, weak signals, and data quality — not just volume.

Decide
Commit with clarity. Not certainty — but with an explicit understanding of what is known, what is assumed, and what will be monitored.

When to Use It

The Veritus Framework is most effective when decisions carry financial, reputational, or operational risk — particularly in AI adoption, transformation programmes, strategy under uncertainty, and major investment decisions.
